The Problem

The AI Innovation Lag is Real. Stop Wasting Time on Wrong Strategies.

While your competitors announce "AI-first" shifts, your organization is trapped in a cycle of scattered, unvalidated pilots and endless internal debate. Fragmented efforts compete for internal budget and talent. Undefined paths turn AI into a cost center rather than a growth engine. A "Technology-First" trap prioritizes testing the newest tool over sustainable business logic

Indecision in the AI space is expensive. Every month without a clear business logic drains your margins and risks obsolescence against more agile entrants. It's time to create clarity.

Escape the Paralysis of Choice

AI offers infinite possibilities, but trying to test them all leads to stagnation. We help you move from "paralyzing curiosity" to a ranked list of high-value AI opportunity areas tailored to your specific industry logic, ensuring you don't overlook the "train" while chasing distractions.

Move Beyond Tool Thinking

Groundbreaking AI development fails without the right business model. We apply the St. Gallen Magic Triangle (Who-What-How-Why) to your ideas, ensuring your AI initiatives don't just "work" technically, but actually capture value and generate profit.

End the 6-Month Debate Cycle

Internal politics and committee-led innovation often kill the best ideas before they reach the market. We compress the traditional months of scouting and ideation into a high-velocity 48-hour working session that replaces intuition with evidence and opinion with action.

Discipline

Get moving in the messy AI space

Most organizations fail at AI strategy because they confuse activity with progress. The sprint forces discipline. You don't debate endlessly—you test rigorously against proven patterns, then move.

Work with a proven methodology

The Magic Triangle has guided over 100,000 business model innovations across industries and continents.

Reduce risk before you invest

Test your top three concepts against market logic before committing budget to scale.

Build conviction in your leadership team

When everyone sees the same evidence and reaches the same conclusion, execution becomes inevitable.

Move faster than your competition

While others are still debating, you'll have a validated roadmap and the momentum to execute it.

Process

From AI Uncertainty to a Profit-Ready Roadmap in 48 Hours

Stop the endless internal debate. Our high-velocity sprint compresses months of traditional scouting into two days of intensive, science-backed collaboration to engineer your AI competitive advantage.

Day 1: Breaking Logic &
Building Opportunities

We submerge your team in the St. Gallen Business Model Navigator™ framework. Together, we analyze your current ecosystem and use the Similarity and Confrontation principles to generate over 50 AI-driven concepts. By the end of the day, we select the high-potential winners using the Opportunity Map.

Day 2: Financial Clarity &
Validation Strategy

We detail the winning concepts using the Magic Triangle to ensure internal consistency. We then run Reverse Financials to assess first profitability and map your Critical Assumptions. We move from theory to action by creating a customized Problem-Solution Interview guide for your team.

The Result: 2–4 Concrete AI
Business Models

You leave with more than just ideas; you receive 2–4 detailed business model concepts with clear value propositions and revenue mechanics. Most importantly, you walk away with a prioritized 6-month testing roadmap that provides a clear path from your "pivotal second" to a market-ready pilot.

The Method

We use the Business Model Navigator™

>50,000 copies sold in 4+ languages. The global standard for business model innovation.

Innovation isn’t luck, it’s a disciplined craft. Nine out of ten successful business models are built from the same 55+ patterns. As a University of St. Gallen spin-off we co-developed the Business Model Navigator™ method, a  a global innovation standard trusted by over 200 leading companies to turn ambition into repeatable breakthroughs.

While most AI initiatives fail because they focus on technology first, we ground your strategy in empirical science and proven models to ensure your AI initiatives create real strategic value.

Outcomes

What Happens When You Stop Debating and Start Deciding

Our 48-hour intervention provides the "pivotal second" your organization needs to move from unstructured AI experiments to a unified strategic logic that your board can actually back.

A Prioritized AI
Opportunity Portfolio

You leave with a documented folder of 50+ AI-driven business model ideas generated specifically for your company using the 55+ Pattern Cards. These are not just "brainstorming notes" but concepts ranked on a proprietary Opportunity Map that separates high-potential strategic winners from noise.

2–4 Detailed AI Business Model Concepts

We'll build out 2 to 4 business model concepts in detail, looking at the most critical assumptions, the revenue model and the financial viability. You'll leave with a clear understanding of the potential.

A Clear Roadmap With
Next Steps

You walk away with a ready-to-execute roadmap to bridge the gap between "the sprint" and "the pilot". This includes the experiments needed to de-risk the critical assumptions and the way towards a viable pilot.

Questions

Everything you need to know about the sprint.

Can it really be done in two days?

Yes. By focusing strictly on the Ideate phase and using pre-work scouting, we compress months of internal debate into 48 hours of decision-ready output. The St. Gallen framework is proven through 400+ workshops; the pace is relentless, but the results are clear.

Do we need technical AI expertise to participate?

No! Seconds focuses on the strategic business logic (the Who, What, How, and Why) of AI rather than the technical implementation or coding. You bring the business context; Seconds brings the frameworks like the Pattern Cards to challenge your industry's dominant logic.

Is this available remotely or onsite?

Both are possible but we strongly recommend an in-person 'War Room' session at your location or ours to maximize creative velocity. However, we also offer a high-fidelity virtual format for distributed teams. In that case, we might suggest four half-day sessions instead of two full days. Please note that for on-site delivery, travel expenses (Spesen) are billed separately from the sprint fee.

What is the difference between this sprint and the full business model developemt?

The AI Ideation Sprint is the first phase of our 6–12 month full business model development offering. It delivers immediate strategic clarity and a prioritized opportunity roadmap. The full business model development journey follows through with deep-dive Integrate and Implement phases, including customer validation, prototyping, and pilot preparation. Choose the sprint to find your 'pivotal second'; choose business model development to build the venture that results from it.

Who qualifies for this sprint?

This intervention is tailored for corporate & SME teams that face complex internal decision-making. It is designed for VPs and Directors who need strategic business logic, not software development. We suggest a designated 'Decider' to be present both workshop days, at least though for a selection session on Day 2 to ensure the results move immediately toward action.
